About
Julien Pebrel lives and works in Tbilisi and Paris.
After a scientific training, he turned to photography and joined Agence MYOP in 2011, becoming co-director from 2016 to 2019.
In the last years he focused on Georgia where he is working on a documentary project about different layers of Georgian society. He’s also a regular contributor of Théâtre(s) Magazine and a big part of his work is so dedicated to theater.
Julien is also giving workshops for Les Rencontres d’Arles (one in Arles and one online), Myop agency, L’Envol, etc.
He is now working on his first documentary feature film - Kartli - with Tamar Kalandadze.
